This Ilkal handloom lehenga set belongs to the second kind  a piece where the ancient craft of Karnataka's check weaving meets the painstaking artistry of Kasuti hand embroidery, resulting in an ensemble that feels both deeply rooted and utterly contemporary.

The lehenga is woven in a fine teal and navy check  the signature Ilkal check pattern  on a traditional handloom in Karnataka. The hem carries a wide hand-embroidered border in rich jewel tones: deep maroon, gold, and teal geometric and Kasuti motifs that echo the architectural grandeur of Deccan heritage. The blouse mirrors the lehenga's check weave, with sleeves entirely covered in dense Kasuti hand embroidery in a patchwork of colour and pattern.

The dupatta is the crown of this ensemble  fully embroidered in fine Kasuti threadwork and geometric patterns across its entire length, with a wide embroidered border and tassel fringe at the ends.
