A masterpiece of Karnataka's living textile heritage this handloom saree from Ilkal is woven in rich royal purple silk, adorned with intricate Kasuti embroidery featuring traditional motifs of peacocks, elephants, palanquins, and folk figures in vibrant multicolour threadwork.

The saree is finished with a signature teal and gold zari border (Ilkal-style striped pallu) and tassel-edged pallu, characteristic of the Ilkal weaving tradition.
