We turned a Karnataka handloom saree into this look.

The Molkalmuru temple border from Chitradurga, Karnataka  woven on a pit-loom — re-cut into 22 panels to create this floor-length anarkali. Kasuti hand-embroidered motifs grace only the top, keeping the bottom flow clean and uninterrupted. Paired with a jamuni Ilkal handloom silk odhni with gold zari border.

  • Fabric: Pure Molkalmuru silk (anarkali) + Ilkal handloom silk (odhni)
  • Weave: Pit-loom woven Molkalmuru temple border, re-cut into 22 panels
  • Embroidery: Kasuti hand-embroidered motifs on bodice only
  • Odhni: Jamuni (purple) Ilkal silk with gold zari border
  • Silhouette: Floor-length anarkali with wide-leg palazzo
  • Color: Forest green with red-gold temple border hem + jamuni dupatta
