This pure mulberry silk Khunn saree is one such conversation: the dense, rhythmic geometry of Khunn motifs woven on a pitloom, meeting the bold contrast of a traditional Ilkal border, finished by hand with embroidery that traces each line with quiet intention.

The journey to this saree spans more than four years. Fitting traditional looms  dobby shafts to carry the full vocabulary of Khunn motifs onto mulberry silk a fibre that demands its own terms. erfecting the seam where the body gives way to the pallu, so the transition is seamless, almost inevitable.

The result is a saree that wears its making lightly, but carries it deeply.
