Woven on traditional Ilkal looms in Karnataka, this emerald green silk saree is a masterwork of two ancient crafts  the structured Ilkal weave and the painstaking Kasuti hand embroidery. Every inch of the body is adorned with all-over Kasuti motifs featuring the majestic hathi (elephant) and the mythical Gandaberunda  the two-headed eagle, Karnataka's royal emblem  rendered in gold thread against deep forest green silk.
