The base is pure handloom silk from Karnataka — soft, luminous, woven slowly. The all-over grid is thread-work butis: not print, not powerloom. Each small ivory floral motif is handwoven in thread, giving the body that particular matte depth that only a hand-worked surface can hold. The kind of depth that photographs quietly and wears loudly.

The border and blouse are where it turns couture. Hand-embroidered in zari and glass beads — dense, precise, catching light without glitter. Every bead set by hand so the edge sits clean and weighty. No shortcut embroidery. No powerloom sheen. Just handloom, hand thread-work, and hand beadwork, in that order.
